It鈥檚 Time We Talk About FAFSA

If you鈥檙e like many of the superintendents I鈥檝e spoken with lately, it鈥檚 safe to say that FAFSA completion rates are on you and your staff鈥檚 minds. Due to the delayed rollout of the 鈥淏etter FAFSA,鈥� the National College Attainment Network (NCAN) shows the 2024 Class is behind on submissions by about 33% compared to the 2023 Class.
We must help our seniors get back on track. Closing the gap on FAFSA completions will give our seniors the financial aid information they need to make informed decisions about their postsecondary pathways.
This is an all-hands-on-deck moment, and here鈥檚 what 91制片 is doing to support FAFSA completion efforts:
- Collaboration between the U.S. Department of Education, NCAN, and other K-12 and higher education partners is ongoing. Read our latest blog post by Bill DeBaun at NCAN for an overview and updates.
- You can download, customize and share this with your staff to connect them with the resources they need.
- A resource hub now exists on 91制片's website, and it includes fact sheets, guides and a wealth of other materials.
