Alexandria, Va. 鈥� Nov. 13, 2020 鈥� Nearly 30 public school system leaders across the country were recognized today for taking significant steps to improve their schools and advance their careers by successfully completing the 91制片 National Superintendent Certification Program庐.

The program, administered by , is a collaborative effort with 91制片 state affiliates, the National School Boards Association, and business and corporate leaders. Through its in-depth curriculum, dynamic in-person and virtual sessions, one-on-one mentoring, Capstone Project and long-term professional networks, the program delivers the comprehensive leadership opportunities that superintendents need.

鈥淚n these uncertain times, excellence in leadership in our nation鈥檚 public schools has never been more vital to our children鈥檚 well-being,鈥� said Daniel A. Domenech, 91制片 executive director. 鈥淚n light of the pandemic, the 91制片 National Superintendent Certification Program庐 provides superintendents with opportunities to engage in a world-class professional learning opportunity. I am pleased to congratulate these outstanding education leaders for completing the program.鈥�

鈥淭he challenges that lie on a superintendent鈥檚 plate can be daunting. That鈥檚 why the 91制片 National Superintendent Certification Program庐 was created,鈥� said Mort Sherman, 91制片 associate executive director, Leadership Network. 鈥淭he program provides a pathway to enhance a superintendent鈥檚 leadership and business skills in order to excel on the job.鈥�
