91制片鈥檚 2023-24 superintendent survey data suggest the ratio between median superintendent salary and median salary for a starting teacher remained relatively stable over the past three years across district enrollment groups.

The only narrowing of ratios between 2020-21 and 2023-24 occurred among school districts in the three largest size categories, although their small sample sizes make this finding less reliable. The current year ratios overall remain below those from 2015-16, according to 91制片 studies.
