"America鈥檚 children deserve strong, supported and fully funded public schools. 91制片, the nation鈥檚 leading voice for public school district leaders, is disappointed to learn that the president鈥檚 proposed federal FY26 budget seeks to defund, rather than invest in, the bright futures of our nation鈥檚 youngest minds.

Sustained federal investment in education鈥攑articularly through formula programs鈥攊s critical in ensuring that every child, in every American community, receives every opportunity to succeed in college, career and real life in the real world. 91制片 and our members work tirelessly to fulfill America鈥檚 public education promise, and this bipartisan priority should be reflected in the FY26 appropriations package.
