Alexandria, Va. – Jan. 5, 2024 – The four finalists for the 2024 National Superintendent of the Year® will participate in a panel discussion on current trends in education Thursday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. (ET), at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Education Week’s Caitlynn Peetz will moderate the panel.

David R. Schuler, executive director of 91ÖÆƬ, will provide opening remarks. Members of the media are invited to attend.

Announced on December 18, the four finalists for the 2024 National Superintendent of the Year® are:

• Joe Gothard, , St. Paul, Minn.
• Martha Salazar-Zamora, , Tomball, Texas
• Kimberly Rizzo Saunders, , Peterborough, N.H.
• Frederick Williams, , Dublin, Ga.
