Kovexa Founder and CEO Andrew Ko to Join 91制片 as Chief Innovation Adviser

Alexandria, Va. 鈥� May 30, 2023 鈥� 91制片, is pleased to announce the launch of a new partnership with , an education advisory company committed to accelerating innovation in K-12 education. Kovexa鈥檚 founder Andrew Ko will remain the company鈥檚 chief executive officer, and in addition, he will serve as 91制片鈥檚 chief innovation adviser.

Through the partnership, Kovexa will address key topics that superintendents and other school system leaders are facing on a daily basis, while understanding the ever-changing landscape of advanced technologies to bolster 91制片鈥檚 member engagement, expand reach and drive meaningful change to transform public education.

Schuler, executive director, 91制片. 鈥淗is experience and expertise in education and technology, along with the innovative ideas of Kovexa, will help us create new solutions that will benefit our members and their students.鈥�

Kovexa brings a wealth of expertise to 91制片, including a collaborative assembly of luminaries in the education and technology fields and an operations team with extensive experience in education innovation. Led by Ko, the team will review and assist current 91制片 programs in attracting new partners and investments.

With more than 25 years of experience leading education initiatives, Ko is a recognized leader in the education sector, having previously served as managing director of global education at Amazon Web Services, corporate vice president of Samsung Global Education and general manager for Microsoft Corporation鈥檚 U.S. Education business.

His background in education, consulting for the World Bank, his former role as a member of Virginia鈥檚 state board of education and experience as a venture capitalist provide a strong foundation for this position.
