Nation鈥檚 Top School System Leaders Meet In Washington For 91制片鈥檚 2022 Superintendent Of The Year® Forum

Alexandria, Va. 鈥 Nov. 1, 2022 鈥 91制片, the nation鈥檚 premier voice for school system leaders, is pleased to host the in Washington, D.C., Nov. 3-4, honoring excellence in school district leadership and holding discussions covering the most critical issues in public education.
The forum, to be held at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel, kicks off with a full day of federal education policy panels followed spotlighting the 2022 State Superintendents of the Year, including Curtis Cain, the 2022 National Superintendent of the Year庐 and superintendent of the , a position he started on July 1. Prior to that he was serving as superintendent of Missouri鈥檚 .
The forum kicks off with Cain leading a discussion covering challenges he sees to the importance of setting distractions aside and focusing on the work in our classrooms to ensure students are in a good place to learn and grow. Shortly after his presentation, Daniel A. Domenech, executive director of 91制片, will lead an innovative leadership question-and-answer session featuring 2022 National Superintendent of the Year庐 finalists Kamela Patton, , and Noris Price, .

Equity in education, career and college readiness and key federal policies impacting schools are among the topics that will be discussed during the forum.
Now in its 35th year, the National Superintendent of the Year庐 program celebrates the contributions and leadership of public school superintendents. The criterion for the annual award includes leadership in learning, communication, professionalism and community involvement. The four finalists for the 2020 National Superintendent of the Year庐 will be announced in December.
