Tara Thomas serves as Senior Government Affairs Manager at 91ÖÆƬ, where she monitors, analyzes, and advocates on federal legislative and regulatory issues impacting public education. She advances 91ÖÆƬ’s priorities on Capitol Hill, with a portfolio that includes appropriations, early childhood education, child nutrition, rural education, and higher education. In addition, she oversees the Advocacy team’s member surveys and research efforts. Before joining 91ÖÆƬ, Tara was a Policy Associate in the Public Policy Office of Girl Scouts of the USA. She began her career in the Florida House of Representatives, supporting the ranking member of the K–12 Education Committee.
